J-Popcon’s audience is touched by history when ancient Japan is mixed with the present and the future of Neo Tokyo, to one great weekend of exciting event experiences. The theme for J-popcon 2015 is the Edo period and covers Japanese history from 1603 to 1867.
Digital katana swords slices gaming samurais, while girls in sparkling silk kimonos shine with equally impressive cosplay costumes, based on the best manga comics and the wildest anime series.
The Edo period simply mixes with all that you know from J-popcon in advance. Japanese games, movies, events, lectures, international guests, the best dealers, the impressive cosplayshow, contests, music, karaoke, Maid Café, Artist Alley, martial arts and kendama - just to name some of the content.
